Response To The Current Political Investigation 1.0

President Richard Nixon served two terms, for a total of 5 years and 6 months; between January 20, 1969 and August 9, 1974. (Excerpt From, InsideGov) July 23, 1973: Nixon refuses to turn over the presidential tape recordings to the Senate Watergate committee or the special prosecutor. October 20,1973: Saturday Night Massacre: Nixon fires Archibald Cox and abolishes the office of the special prosecutor. (Excerpt From, The Washington Post) A two year investigation can be very damaging to the United States. It must be done with a great sense of integrity and urgency. My hope is that no one in the administration goes unscathed. The rule of law must prevail. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Everyone must abide by it.
